yea Epson and HP both have excellent Linux support. Have a look on 
TradeMe for either one you should be able to find a cheapy or setup a 
lil Win2k system on the side as a print server. When we purchased the 
F300 it mostly on windows based reasons, i tried it linux and it 
supported it completely. It's a very good printer for $80 although the 
cartridges are tiny so u have to buy new ones constantly, but since dad 
doesn't pay for ink. its not that much of a problem.
