[hblug] Problem Installing a Brother Printer MFC-215c Print/Fax/Scanner

Hi from another newbie of Linux - Ubuntu 7.04

Has anyone installed the above printer yet?

Brother suggested the MFC-210c Drivers for this model they have put out.
I have downloaded the Debian drivers and installed them. However... the
printer still will not function!!

The screen on the printer says " recieving data" then clears itself and
nothing happens.. no sound of anything moving inside the printer
either!!

I've searched the net and only found referenaces to success but not for
me!

I'm currently testing other preinstalled drivers of MFC models to see if
another will do the job! If anyone has any other ideas please list them!
