Xubuntu uses that so it might be a good one for the low-spec PC's
I'll download a copy and try it on something small.

My pref would be:
Anything with less than 500mhz /128mb / 10gb doesnt get rebuilt for 
general sale. ( maybe gets used for specials like ipcop boxes or 
stripped for parts etc )
Anything with 500mhz / 128mb / 10gb gets Xbuntu ( or similar skinny distro )
Anything with 800mhz / 256mb / 20GB or better spec gets the latest 
stable Kubuntu distro

If we get enough systems we obviously could offer different flavors, so 
people could try Gnome / KDE / XFCE etc before they buy.
