[hblug] crazy printer

Hi all,

My printer has gone crazy and prints a couple of lines if letters and 
symbols.  It has done this before but I can't remember how I stopped it. 
  So far I have unplugged the printer, both power and cable but when 
reconnected does the same.  Do I need to reboot?
