Thanks Rene

NExt thought is conections...
I'm not sure what is on the VIA Mobo I have at the moment but I'll peek
in the case.
I have seen that there are three options for a DVD conection available
on the following...

Asus Lightscribe DVD-RW Black 18xDVD+-R - Model DRW-1814BL is what I'm
looking at but which interface is best?

1) PATA - Paraell ATA interface
2) Sata - Serial ATA (Is this the faster transfer rate type?)
3) IDE - the old connectors!

I might need to by a Serial SATA to IDE Ultra ATA 100/133 Converter
Adapter for my old mobo just to connect a new DVD writer to, around $16
on TM?

Any Thoughts?

Cheers
Chris
