Hi John, 

I fixed the problem with the with the 740 Epson  printer. I must have
tweaked it by accident while using the terminal.  I am not sure, but
there might be a problem on CUPS web site, I don't know.  I was so
frustrated with the printer, I reinstall Ubuntu and now everything is
running ok. The print is very good.  I changed computers a couple of
weeks ago so there wasn't a whole lot of information on there.   I still
am transferring information from my other computer using Fedora 3.
Anyway, I do appreciate your help, mate.  Thanks a lot.
