[hblug] I am trying to set up my Epson 740 printer after insalling Ubuntu.

Hello again,

Perhaps someone could help.  I have been trying to install the drivers
to my Epson 740.  It is a good printer and I need it for just letter,
etc.  I have tried to get it going and have gone through the normal
procedures with installing the drivers.  But to no avail.  The status on
the properties of the printer is:
"Ready: /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed"  This is after the
printing job automatically stops.

I think I have to reconfigure the cups because I think it might be set
up wrong.  I don't know how, though. That is the problem.  If anyone
could help, much appreciated.
