I did ask in the Gallery Forums http://gallery.menalto.com/node/53555 
but got no answers.

I have since found a paymate module for ZenCart here - 
http://www.cartikahosting.com/option,com_docman/task,cat_view/gid,78/
but I doubt that would work in Gallery.
