Anyone here bothered to reboot their routers and check the speed of 
their "unleashed broadband" ?
As of the 26th all those on ADSL plans such as PDQMax should have no 
speed limits on their download and upload speeds.

It seems removing a limit (that couldn't be reached anyway due to over 
subscribed lines etc) has had little effect on the actual 
download/upload speeds obtained in the real world..

My pre-MAX measured speed on my "old" 3.5/.512 plan was about 1600kbps 
down and 300kbps up.

Now that the "restrictions" have been lifted, my download speed is 
roughly half of what it used to be.
