As your video card is a "nVidia GeForce NX7600GS-T2D256EH 256MB PCI-Express"
(ignore the MSI bit!!!!),
these instructions (taken from
http://doc.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/desktopguide/C/hardware.html#graphics-cards)

3D Nvidia Video Card Driver:
   1.

Install the nvidia-glx package from the Restricted repository (see
Chapter 3, Adding, Removing and Updating Applications).
   2.

      sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf_backup
      sudo nvidia-glx-config enable

   3.

You may adjust the settings of the new driver by running the
application nvidia-settings (see the section called "Start a Program
Manually"). If you wish, add a menu entry for this program (see the section
called "Edit K-Menu").
   4.

      Restart X:
Push Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. If that doesnt work, push Alt+F2, type

kdesu /etc/init.d/kdm restart

into the box, push run and enter the root password when asked for it.

Then you should have the nvidia driver. (ati instructions also in the
Kubuntu Desktop Guide)
Also, maybe you should take a look of the Kubuntu Desktop Guide, it might
have some other useful things in it.

So Windows Vista lasted about 30mins - seen enough of that thanks...

As far as I know it overwrites other M$ bootloaders too.
