I finally got it installed (had to install with -noapic option)
I cant get both screens to run - no2 screen is just a chequered pattern
of tiny squares
It has installed a driver called 'nv" by default ( probably because it
no listing for MSI at all, or anything remotely resembling a MSI nVidia
GeForce NX7600GS-T2D256EH 256MB PCI-Express ) LOL
So Windows Vista lasted about 30mins - seen enough of that thanks...
Also did you know::
Windows Vista examines the MBR of its hard drive and if it finds Grub or
Lilo ( or probably anything else non-M$ ) it reformats the MBR so that
only Vista is available at the next bootup!!
Nice one M$ - way to make friends!!
cheers
chris.
