It has stated goals up front.

Perry, i have no objection in going with the letter pretty much as you
have written it.

Lessons to take on for next year:

Demonstrate it at a fixed site;
 - nothing like seeing it running to tempt the taste buds.
 - is council approval required? 
 - find a covered area with tables and power supply. (covered 
   from rain and for monitor visibility)
 - Have A3 posters around the site 
Advertise it;
 - if it's a not for profit event the radio stations "should"
   post notices for us.
Windows software;
 - Give them a lot of free windows software. I see "The Open CD" was
   one of the sponsors:

Start preparation earlier;
 - So we can get the T_Shirts ;)
 - To arrange the venue
 - To get in before we get other commitments
 - To take some of the prep load off Daniel and Rene

I also want to thank Daniel, Rene and Perry for the effort that they put
in, Daniel especially... Guys, put your arm straight up in the air bend
your elbow backwards and pat yourselves between the shoulder blades.
