Re - the booting from CD issue with the screen going black..
Just tried it at home with my usual monitors setup - same problem as 
soon as you hit enter to start the knoppix system the screen goes black 
- could this be an issue with the graphics drivers on the Knoppix CD not 
being compatible with high-end PCI-E graphics cards?
