Hi all, been on a learning curve with kubuntu that Chris kindly 
installed for me. However, last night I downloaded the updates and I 
guess you all know the rest. Rebooted this morning and could only get to 
the splash screen b4 it hung. Checked out the ubuntu forum and a fix was 
posted, but I cant get the cl. I ran the recovery mode and end up with 
the prompt: root at james-desktop:~#  any help with where I go from here 
would be appreciated.
