Help, I'm such a klutz. Tried installing ubuntu last night, 
unfortunately all the advice I printed out was for a text install. I 
managed to manually partion the HD as I wanted, but when I went to mount 
them, got completely lost and managed to crash the installer. So, I 
exited and now xp is on 30 GB, which is what I required but I don't want 
to go back in until I know more [a whole lot more].
Is there a howto I can access re. mounting partions in graphic mode 
showing the symbles ie /, usr etc. All help greatly appreciated.
