[AuckLUG] Eee PC and Ubuntu

If a future version of Ubuntu uses more than 4 Gb, could it be 
installed on the Transcend SDHC card?

I am wondering how I could install Ubuntu in view of the fact that 
there is no CD drive. Can it be installed from a USB flash drive?
