Thanks for the information.

There is one other thing which concerns me and that is the small 
size (4 Gb) of the internal flash memory. On the machine I looked at 
in a shop there was only 1.3 Gb free. I am wondering if that will be 
sufficient for software updates including Open Office version 3. 
Also, I am worried about whether or not there will be sufficient 
space in the event of an update to Open Office necessitating an 
update to the operating system. Am I worrying unnecessarily or 
should I incur the extra expense of purchasing an 8 Gb Eee PC?
