I would be cautious running MYOB on wine. watching the lists, in the
past some have been bitten with problems with other accounting
software. The official wine appdb does list some versions of myob as
gold - i.e. works with a couple of workarounds but the testing was not
thorough. eg:
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=226
Wine 1.0 will be out very soon (next month i think) but there is only a
very small list of supported apps hopefully guaranteed to not regress
and myob is not one of them. That said, the progress of wine is really
amazing.
Codeweavers also list it but do not officially support it (mind the
wrap). with apparently not much success running it.

As an aside, I have not been impressed with MYOB, as last time i ran
into it on windows XP, I seem to remember it had to have permissions
played around with to get it running as not an administrator.
Unfortunately I have been told that MYOB have a large share of the
accountants in Nz. Oh and dont run wine as root <g>
