SiS drivers for Linux may not be able to handle the 3D needs of GE. I've had
trouble with SiS in the past, though it was several years ago (and your
system appears to be of a similar vintage).

Also, if this is one of those integrated mobos with shared video and system
ram, you might find that turning some of the caching off in your system BIOS
may help. Try one setting at a time to see if any of them make any
difference. I'd start with any caching of the video memory being disabled
rather than enabled as a first look. It should be disabled.

It may be that you just can't get there from here.....but worth trying all
the options short of a new system board / and or video chipset to see if any
work for you.

Just some ideas. I don't know whether they will work or not.
