[AuckLUG] Google Earth re boot problem

Hi All,
       Just tried installing Google Earth on my desktop (Fedora 7 
Moonshine). As with previous installs ,trying to run it has exactly the 
same effect as hitting my re-boot button.Computer just drops out goes 
through the whole start up procedure to the log on screen.Anyone else 
experiencing this ?
