Both the BT878 cards (Chipsets whats relevant -- Both are Brooktree BT8x8
models), and both have support under Linux.

Depending on your distro you may need to delve into modprobing a few
things, and potentially install an app like xawtv or (my fav): TVTime.
Best / easiest solution would be to Google for:
Howto bt878 distroname

Not sure about the DVB-S card though sorry, Im not rich enough to own one
yet ;)

Either way, it shouldnt be too hard to setup, I find I spend more time
trying to get drivers working on some of the older cards in WinXP rather
than in Linux, YMMV :)
