I'm at a bit of a disadvantage here "the command line terrifies me :-)"

However, I did a cd  /var/log/ and then a ls and got a whole list of items
- some in red and others in black type, one of which was lpr.log.  In my
ignorance I then did a cd / lpr.log which resulted in No such file or
directory.  The same result when I did a cat lpr.log and a ls lpr.log.

So, please tell me what should I type to find out what is in those log
files?

cd /var/spool/lpd returns No such File or Directory.
