[AuckLUG] Problem with Internet on Debian

I recently installed Debian linux on my server, works fine. But theres one
problem. It doesn't seem to like the internet much.
When i open up a browser, it times out. Or when I try apt-get update it just
sits there at 0%. But the weird thing is, It pings Google successfully.
Which tells me its connecting fine :S  Has anyone had this problem, or know
how to resolve it?
