G'day all, and apologies for the crosspost:
I blogged a little about my experiences at the NZOSA last night:

Kudos to Peter Harrison for winning the New Zealand Open Source Ambassador
category; NZLUG has its little slice of input there, as it was at an NZLUG
meeting in Auckland (thus, I guess, AuckLUG prior to its creation - heh)
where the creation of the NZOSS was first tabled.
The Open Source Society has gone on to do great things and judging by the
calibre of the Open Source coming out of New Zealand evidenced last night,
its only going to get better.
Worthy mention of the fact that the Waikato Linux Users Group were also a
finalist in that category, and from what I hear the judges had one hell of
a job sorting through all the stellar quality nominations.
Well done to all those who were nominated, were made finalists or won
their categories. Encourage NZLUG'rs to keep their ears to the ground -
and i'm sure the awards will be run again.
Cheers
Mark.
