Be wary of Woosh, they promise a lot and deliver very little.

They do not have the coverage for a decent signal except for those in 
line, and at height, from their small number of transmitters.

I would ask them where the transmitters are in relation to your location 
and then asses the likelihood or receiving a working signal. If you are 
lucky, Woosh can be terrific, if you are like most people you'll end up 
decidedly unlucky.

As for Linux, strangely, when I tried Woosh (very poor signal) I found 
using a USB better than the Ethernet card. There are problems running 
Linux from a modem, make sure the modem is up and firing before you turn 
on your machine seems the best work-around.
