I just get the following response:
PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data.

I don't know how to do this but I am not having any problems when
running Windows on the same computers. Also, I have previously used
Ubuntu, Debian and Xandros using the same router although not
recently.

I get the message "Destination host unreachable".
