Presumably you are in Auckland, but which suburb or general area?

What flavour of linux are you interested in - Slackware/Ubuntu/Suse/etc?

What sort of machine are you talking about?  Something moderately 
recent, or a good old Pentium II (my favourite!) ?

Dialup or ADSL net connection?
