[AuckLUG] iPod on Linux

hi,

I recently got given an ipod, having been too busy to play with it ... I
haven't looked into many of the features, I was wondering if anyone has any
experience with these devices on non-mac enviroments particularly on linux,
what I want to be able to do is be able to synchronise a calender (don't
care for what program at this stage) with my ipod ... I hope I don't get
shutdown for buying an ipod as many people have accused me of being a tool
