Wouldn't it make sense to provide a wiki page for that purpose where people
can (A) request topics that would be suitable and of interest to them, and
(B) suggest topics they could give a talk on?
This scheme has worked very well for an agile development community I've been
participating in. The community is similar to a LUG, so why not try it here
as well?
