Almost none. They both use the same package format, etc.

As a general rule, yes. The main differences are that Ubuntu and Debian
releases have different versions of GCC, libc and other tools. This can
cause some issues with C++ applications or dependencies.
Otherwise, yes, all fine. If the needed dependencies are around in
Ubuntu then things "just work."
