[AuckLUG] Real Player Error = Cannot open the audio device

Hi all,
       I have been using RealPlayer for quite a while now with no 
worries but after a recent re-install of Fedora C5 I am continuously 
getting the

 "Cannot open the audio device. Another application may be using it"

error.In the passed ,on this computer I have had no problems with any audio
format and have used it for streaming.

I am running no new apps that I have not used with RP in the past.
All other audio functions are working OK.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated
