Hello everyone :)
Not too long ago I asked for opinions about a good ISP for Linux users and,
with your help, I settled on Woosh for my specific situation. Thank you!
Now, my situation is about to change. I found a permanent apartment and I
want to sign up for a regular ISP for my home. I'm still in the CBD and my
new landlord tells me that I'm very close to the telephone company's Central
Office. I've been doing my Web searching and I've narrowed it down to Orcon
and ihug.
I'm a heavy Internet user. I'm a Web developer and my work requires a VPN
connection. I use P2P heavily (only for open-source software and other
legal downloads, of course :)). Based on what I've read about products and
packages offered by various ISPs, I think I'll be better off with Orcon.
Can anyone offer any opinions about Orcon, ihug, or any ISP in the area that
I might've missed?
Thank you,
Vince Aggrippino
