I tried davfs several times in the past and it never quite worked for me. The server side was set up fine (Apache, mod_webdav (?), ssl), at least to the extent that Windoze could access it. I checked their website a few minutes ago and it seems they now use FUSE instead of their own kernel VFS implementation which is promising. Have you got a recent experience with davfs/davfs2? Does it work with SSL? Does it survive disconneting from the net (for instance taking a laptop on the go w/o unmounting the share)? Michal
