Hey Guys,
We've got 3 internet connections, I've had a bit of a play at trying to set
this up following the Debian article at
http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/377
I've got the multiple gateways working at least when I pull the network cord
the second route works
Unfortunately this doesn't deal well with connections that are suffering
packet loss or other "slowness" but still just working. About the best I can
think of is a bash script pinging a few servers and watching the time
responses, and taking links down based on multiple poor response times then
have a cron job check on that link and bring it back up from time to time to
see if its fixed.
Do any of you have example scripts that do the above or have a more elegant
method of approaching this?
Note: I don't want to use a "firewall distro" I'd rather use Debian and add a
few packages.

Then I've got to sort out QoS for SIP and a few other vital things on the
multiple links</headhurt> It's certainly a lot easier with one link!
By the way if anyone is interested in turning up at some stage (workday,
weekend, after hours or online) and giving me a hand with this task I'd
happily reimburse for your time just name your price!
Robert
