The cursor jumping thing is very annoying, but not enough for me to
solve yet... However I did see an article a few months back that
suggested the solution is to setup X so that the 2 screens (with
seperate desktops) are (virtually) *really* far apart, so the cursor
does not slip from one to the other, and you use a hot key to jump
between them.
