[AuckLUG] University Installfest August 5

Hi. My name is Kath Worsfold and I'm a Newbie to this group and to 
Linux. I'm hoping to get Linux installed on Sunday, on my Pentium III 
866 mhz with 384 MB (or hopefully by Sunday 512 MB) of RAM and two hard 
drives totalling 50 GB. I'm not sure if it will take Ubuntu or Kubuntu, 
as I can't get either of those Live CDs to run on it. Does anyone who is 
going happen to have a copy of Xubuntu or any other "lite" distro that 
they could bring? I have an old Live CD of Knoppix 3.7 which runs on 
this computer but this distro is quite old, and is meant to be run from 
the CD. If anyone can help, thank you so much. I still hope that we can 
get Ubuntu to install - there will be lots of experts there who may know 
what I've been doing wrong. I'll introduce myself properly in another
