[AuckLUG] Which Distro for small website/FTP

I just want the FTP for band use. For uploading drafts, etc, etc. I suppose
I can just host the files on the HTTP server and update when necessary. So
ill leave FTP out.
Also, Is MySQL hard to install on Debian ??
I've only ever had experience with Xp.
