seems i don't have that tool. what is it called? (i always do a minimal
install and only pull in the packages i need)

when i install a kde package half od the kde desktop is being pulled in.
and the missing other half gets kde apps to keep flodding me with
errormessages.
similar with gnome...

i don't see why slackware or rpm based distributions should be any worse
here.

intel graphic cards/chips support opengl with a free software driver.
older ati cards have free software driver support as well.

i need the non-free drivers for wireless though :-(
