[AuckLUG] IPCop - CheckPoint1 - VPN drop outs

Hello everyone.

I need some expert help here please.

We run a VPN against Check Point1 FW, for a few months now.

The only issue that we need to resolve is: the connection drops, so you 
have to go to the VPN management interface in IPCop  and re-start it 
every now and then.

I need someone to help me write a script to regularly ping the remote 
end, OR if there is a better way to fix this for good, please contact me 
off list with your rates, and proposed solution.
Once agreed on something, I'd send details for remote connection to the 
IPCop server.
