Hello,
I an ashamed ,yes I am to lay such a stupid and low level question
before the wizzards of Linux , but lay it I must.
In my search for Linux Logic I have taken to installing various distros
on various HDDs untill I have multiple Hdds full of Fedora,Red Hat
Suse,Debian,Mepis etc in the hope that I will find one distro that does
most things.So far no luck.
Unfortunately I STILL need evil M$ to carry out mundane and basic tasks
such as running my printer/scanner.Pity bout that Linux being SO GOOD.
I have now got to the point where I have several HDDs with bits of ex3
partioning etc scattered around them and no hope of re installing M$
which refuses to look at the HDDS.
I have fdisk'ed formatted and otherwise burned these HDDs until they smoke
and while some of them will still install some Linux distros ,absolutely
none of them will take a Win98 install.
So what you ask , luck you you say , yes that well that would be fine if
linux did what it promised , but it wont , I need double boot with at
least Win98 Fat32 to run some of my equipment and I must burn these HDDs
back to Fat32 to do it.HOW ???
Come on
Please
I need this
gaspode
P.S. I seem to recall being flamed for putting stuff in the wrong place
here ; if I'v done it again ,so sorry....g
