Thanks guys, don't think I can ask Telecom for a power supply - I left them to 
go to Slingshot! Anyway I'll try Bill Keesings suggestion for testing and if 
all else fails I'll get the "tronics" guys at work to check with a 
multimeter....never one for doing the obvious!!!

I'm only having a clear out and have this one spare now so I thought, if I 
could find a power supply I'd see if I can get $15 or so for it.
