[AuckLUG] Buying New Computer

My Core 2 Duo Build cost $1200 I would consider that not to expensive 
considering how much more powerful it is than the next computer. Its About 
as powerful as a 6GHz Pentium 4. The Chip rocks :).

But it probably is over kill. Considering you can pick up an entire Pentium 
4 2.4 GHz for less than $450 with Windows XP Professional licence (Not that 
we need it) with a 19 inch monitor. Just it may not have a DVD player but 
DVD players are only $60 max. In some places. Depends what your after and 
where you look I guess.
