[AuckLUG] Buying New Computer

Depends on where you are and what you're after at the end of the day.

One of the cheapest places to get bits or a whole machine is a place
called Supercheap (AKA Global Computers - http://www.supercheappc.biz)
here in Auckland. On http://www.pricespy.co.nz they constantly have some
of the sharpest prices on components (If you were wanting to put the
machine together yourself). I've never priced up a system from them. As
part of their packages they will install Windows XP I believe. Or you can
buy bare bones and install your OS of choice.
