Tried stepping thru all of the options at F4 but none seem to work.. The 640 res options give me a splash screen that runs off the side of the monitor, the 1024 gives an ideal splash screen but then all options turn off the display on the monitor and leave me with a blank screen although I can hear the CD operating. Its almost like once it is past the splash screen it resets the resolution to something not compatible with my monitor. I have an S3 Virge 3D card and have thought of throwing that in to see if I can connect thru that. I am now stumped as Kubuntu seems to load properly. I don't know if it a problem in Edgy or if my CD burn was faulty Alan
