Hi Mark, It looks like you're going to need to learn about mounting. See: http://www.tuxfiles.org/linuxhelp/mounting.html There's probably a more visual way of doing this in Kubuntu (I'm not sure as I don't use this distro). As for changing your resolution, once again, I only know the manual way (as I've always had issues with using gui based tools for this), so once again it's going to be up to someone else on the list to give you some hints. Also, for these sorts of questions, I've found that the NZLUG mailing list works better than AuckLUG as there's nothing speficially "Auckland" about the question. For example, on NZLUG you'll find someone whoose heavily involved in ubuntu development - however he lives in Hawkes Bay and so isn't on AuckLUG. Regards, Nevyn.
