[AuckLUG] Fedora core 4, php and imap

Hi there

I'm having some pretty basic problems getting the php-imap module to run
under fedora core 4. I'm using yum to install it and all appears well,
but even after a reboot the imap module doesn't work or appear in phpinfo().

I've tried removing the c-client package and installing libc-imap
instead as it looked like an alternative library, but that didn't help
either. It was just a guess really.

The imap.ini file is in /etc/php.d/, but there doesn't seem to be an
imap.so file anywhere to go with it.
There IS a mod_imap.so file, but it's not used anywhere in the apache
config. Attempting to add it earned:

Can't locate API module structure `imap' in file
/usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_imap.so: /usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_imap.so:
undefined symbol: mod_imap

So "LoadModule mod_imap /usr/lib/httpd/modules/mod_imap.so" wasn't quite
right either.

Any clues?
