[AuckLUG] Mobile internet on linux laptop

Hi everyone
I need to get a PCMCIA card with internet access so I can link up to websites
from clients, onsite.
I guess my two options are Vodafone and Telecom?
I've spoken to a couple of people using both, and there doesn't seem to be a
huge amount of difference (pricing or performance).
However, I NEED to have this running on a Toshiba laptop (probably Tecra A3X)
with linux (Mandriva) installed.
Can anyone offer advice before I go out, but the wrong card, locate drivers,
struggle to install, etc. etc. lol
