Hi, I'm no linux guru, and I know nothing about Fedora, but I do use debian on all my boxes and generally do a network install from whatever mirror seems to be best working at the time. You could start with the base minimum install which is only about 130MB from memory (my memory nothing to do with RAM) and then add functionality from there. If you do decide to go down this route, you can add me to your msn, and I can msn you the network install boot and root floppy disk images. There's also a disk with extra network drivers and stuff which is sometimes handy depending on your hardware. Otherwise they're at the Debian site somewhere, you could find them yourself.
