Hey Rick, My brief attempts to find something that could be suitable for NZ small business lead no where. Not saying there isn't anything. I am guessing you could learn to use Gnucash and "make" it work or even sql-ledger. There are some comparison links around, but they mainly cater for US or UK accounts. I went with MYOB in the end, as that what my accountant uses, plus it runs on Mac OS X. Just what I ended up doing.
