On Saturday, 24th of January 2004, NZLUG Auckland
are holding an installfest from 10am to 4pm in Building 180 at the Mt Albert Unitec campus, to help those wanting to
install Linux - a free Open-Source Operating System. This event will also provide a
forum
for people to discuss and ask questions about all facets of Linux and
Open-Source
Technology.
This is the second event held in the last 12 months in the Auckland
Region by the NZLUG. Among those attending this event will be the president
of the New Zealand Open-Source Society, commercial Linux vendors, industry
IT professionals and hobbyists/enthusiasts.
